She listens, she thinks and she delivers. She’s had extensive experience and knows how to navigate government departments, industry committees and the corporate world.
Our financial aficionado and Asian culinary queen, Meemee keeps our budgets on track and our stomachs satisfied. Currie’s longest serving team member, she’s got an outstanding track record in fiscal and office management and is always open to ideas to make Currie more Fa Cai (prosperous).
Sophie is a seasoned communications expert who supports organisations in agriculture, natural resource management and science achieve their goals and increase their impact. She loves to collaborate and draws on her background in science communication, social marketing and partnership brokering in her work.
As someone fascinated in data and the truths (and untruths) it tells, Ryan is a strong believer in evidence-based decision-making. As an idealist turned realist, he's interested in seeing how we can make the right decisions for positive social change. In his spare time, Ryan geeks out with board games and a good book.
Laura Griffin brings extensive agricultural media relations and editorial expertise to the Currie team. She is driven to understand how research, policies and more impact people. She uses that understanding to tell stories and develop communications that motivate action. Laura loves conversations with friends and getting swept away into the worlds of novels and movies.
Our resident agricultural guru, Laura grew up on a sheep/wheat property in the Riverina. Laura is as at home on horseback as she is drafting and executing communications strategy. Laura is most interested in the intersection between sustainability and agriculture, and she is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability and Climate Policy.
With a background in communications and politics, Isabella is passionate about sustainability and ensuring a better world for future generations. She joined Currie as an intern, and loved it so much she stayed on as a full-time consultant.
